Touch and Flee is the fifth album from Neil Cowley Trio. Their debut (2006) album, Displaced, won the BBC Jazz Award for best album in 2007. Touch and Flee contains 9 tracks (35 min, 48 min), the band comprises Neil Cowley (piano), Evan Jenkins (drums) and Rex Horan (bass). It's an interesting jazz album which takes in everything from lounge jazz ('Sparkling') to a more modern, electronic slant ('Mission'). Ensuring that the band bring jazz up to date for a younger audience, as well as pleasing fans of more traditional compositions. Touch and Flee is certainly an enjoyable album and one that lovers of jazz should invest some time in. 8 Nick Smithson Buy this item online
