Zoo Harmonics are a four-piece punk-rock powerhouse hailing from Tel Aviv, Israel. Business in the Front... Party in the Back is the band’s first UK release, in which they brandish their own flavour of melodic punk that combines fast paced punk rhythms and emotive lyrics to create an energetic and mature debut... Zoo Harmonics are branded as punk, but I'd argue that Business in the Front... Party in the Back showcases them more as a rock band. When you think of rock music, I'm betting you don't think of banjo fused with electric guitar... Sounds like it shouldn't work, right? But it does... and incredibly well. Don't believe me? I defy you to listen to 'Stemweder Open Air' and not love it. The tracks are varied and interesting and there's bound to be a couple that will rattle around in your head for days to come. For me, highlights include 'Butterfly' which starts as one style of song and metamorphosis into something much more interesting; 'Club Sin(Atra)', which is catchy and more chilled out than the other rock tracks; 'He Wishes He Knew', which sees the band dip their toe into indie waters; and 'Romania', which is about as punk-esque as they get. The album contains 11 tracks (32 min, 44 sec) of modern rock anthems... If it's your genre, you should definitely give them a listen. 8 Nick Smithson Buy this item online
