Ubisoft release Cliff Martinez's original score for the console game Far Cry 4. In the game, players find themselves in Kyrat, a breathtaking, perilous and wild region of the Himalayas struggling under the regime of a despotic self-appointed king. Using a vast array of weapons, vehicles and animals, players will write their own story across an exotic open-world landscape... Cliff Martinez's score for Far Cry 4 is epic in both its scope and delivery. Over this album's 30 tracks (1 hr, 19 min, 22 sec) we're treated to some impressive themes. Yes, there are a lot of background atmospheric music, but this makes it a score that you can put on in the background while you do something else. There's so much diversity here. The opening track 'Trial by Fire', is an eerie, beautiful way to commence the album, while tracks like 'Secrets of the Goddess' wash over you. There's so much to discover on this album that it should certainly be high on any game soundtrack collector's list of albums to buy. 8 Darren Rea Buy this item online
