Starring veteran zombie slayers Claire Redfield and Barry Burton alongside newcomers to the Resident Evil series, Moira and Natalia, it’s a fight for survival on a remote island teeming with terrifying mutations. Having escaped the detention facility, Claire and Moira join up with other Terra Save members, only to learn they are infected with a deadly virus. Can the group overcome desperation and fear to escape the island alive? Meanwhile, half a year later, Barry must rely on Natalia's memory to track down his missing daughter, and hope beyond hope that he is not too late...
This third installment sees all hell breaking loose - it's certainly the most intricate segment so far. There are two boss battles (one for Claire and one for Barry) as well as two puzzles to be worked through. For Claire's segment this means finding two parts of a statue and for Barry's it involves working out how to move a power cell from one part of the map to another. This time around the environments are dramatically different. While both segments open in the sewers, a large part of Claire's In addition, without spoiling too much, each character's segment has a boss to dispose of. Claire's is probably the hardest of the two, while Barry's is fairly simple to defeat. You'll need to have already bought Part 1 and Part 2 in order to play Part 3, and you can either buy all four episodes as they are released (one a week) or buy the box set with all episodes and some extras. Each episode is fairly straight forward, although you can change the difficulty settings if you want more of a challenge. I split this over two nights, but I could have easily completed it in a single sitting. I spent most of my time marveling at the environment and trying to wring every bit of creepiness out of it as possible.
Judgement is certainly the best segment of the game so far. And having already completed the fourth part, I personally think it's the best segment of the game overall. This is mainly as you're forced to use a little bit of brain power in order to complete the two fairly easy puzzles. What else can you get for £5 these days? This is like a gift from Capcom to the fans. 10 Darren Rea Buy this item online
