Zombie Army Trilogy collects together remastered versions of the original Sniper Elite V2 DLC Nazi Zombie Army and Nazi Zombie Army II, which were both released on PC but not consoles. In addition you get the third installment in the series, which has never been released before.

The game can be played as a single player campaign, or you can play with up to three other online gamers (bringing to mind the Left 4 Dead series). You get the option of choosing from eight characters to play as (four male and four female) although it doesn't really seem to matter which character you choose.

You can also start the game from any level and from any one of the three games. To be honest, I'm kind of glad that this is possible, because I got bored of the first game pretty quickly. And, to be honest, the repetitive nature of the levels soon starts to get a little tiresome. To try and stop this, the developers do introduce a new enemy from time to time.

When you start the game you have the option of choosing your character and then which weapons you want to carry. These include sniper rifles (first weapon), machine guns (secondary weapon) and pistol (third weapon) as well as explosives. When wandering around the levels you also come across other weapons and explosives as well as special weapons.

For those that have played, and enjoyed, the Sniper Elite games, then there's much to enjoy here. The engine and mechanics are the same, as are the slow motion replays of bullets ripping through zombies flesh, sending bone fragments and eyeballs flying everywhere.

It's a little over priced, considering how dated the game actually looks and feels. And while you're getting three games in the same package, I can't help thinking that this should be retailing for, at the most, £30.

It's a lot of fun, but you're going to get the biggest blast playing with others, rather than wading through the levels alone.
