Randy Edelman and Nathan Barr's score for The Boy Next Door is indeed full of creepy menace (It doesn't come much more suspenseful than tracks like 'Sneaking') and works wonderfully in the movie. Whether you'd want to listen to this outside the film is another matter entirely.

The album contains 18 tracks (36 min, 18 sec), and sadly the majority of the music is of the atmospheric background variety. Perfect for the film, not so hot to listen to in isolation. Fans of the movie may get a kick out of it, but it's unlikely this will appeal to anyone else.
