Time Stands Still is the debut album from Taylor Locke. It features his new single 'Running Away From Love'. This is the first solo project from the ex-Rooney guitarist and vocalist and, despite its title, the record is a testament to creative momentum and personal growth for Locke. While it's Locke's first release as a true solo artist, it's not your typical singer songwriter fare... Striding out on your own, debut album's don't come much better than this. 'Burbank Woman' is a wonderfully upbeat way to kick things off, with some of this album's most poetic lyrics. Other highlights include the Keane-esque 'Don't Be A Stranger'; the swinging 'So Long'; the reflective 'The Art of Moving On'; and the chilled out 'No Dice'. From the opening song, 'Burbank Woman', to the final track, 'No Dice', this is a beautiful collection of songs... and the final track really does leave you wanting more. If I had one complaint, it's that the album is a little short - I could easily have listened to much more of Locke's creative talents. Time Stands Still contains 10 tracks (32 min, 23 min). This is the perfect antidote for chasing those winter blues away and preparing yourself for the first signs of spring. 9 Nick Smithson Buy this item online
