Lakeshore Records release March Streitenfeld's score for After the Fall. In the movie, everyday family man Bill loses his job, and his peaceful life quickly spirals out of control. Terrified that he will lose everything he has achieved, he turns to a life of crime, descending into drastic and dangerous measures to stay ahead of the law. As he fights to provide for his family, Bill discovers that the only thing worse than getting caught is getting away with it... March Streitenfeld's score for After the Fall contains 14 tracks (31 min, 47 sec). While on the whole this is an atmospheric background score, it does have its moments. 'Searching in the Dark' is arguably this album's most beautiful track, with a hauntingly sad theme at its core; 'Virtue' revisits the same theme; and 'Home Sweet Home' boarders on Danny Elfman territory (most notably Edward Scissorhands). While the music no doubt adds much to the atmosphere of the movie, there aren't quite enough solid themes to make it a score I'd recommend you buying blind. 6 Darren Rea Buy this item online
