Lakeshore Records release the various artists album to Girlhouse, which also include tomandandy's original score. The film follows a beautiful young college student who, needing money for tuition, moves into a house that streams content to an X-rated website. After a deranged fan hacks in to determine the house's location, she finds herself in a terrifying fight for her life... The score to Girlhouse (17 tracks - 39 min, 44 sec) opens with 7 various artists tracks (28 min, 18 sec) with the remaining 10 tracks (11 min, 26 sec) being comprised of tomandandy's original score. The album opens with the rap track 'The Enemy', which seems to be sung by Mel Blanc (the voice of Bugs Bunny and numerous other Looney Tunes characters). Okay, obviously it isn't but his voice is incredibly similar. 'Good Vibrations' is an interesting pop track, that sounds incredibly upbeat, and is probably the most enjoyable track on the album. tomandandy's score is a slight step up from the normal horror fair. However, it's still music that works best for where it was intended. It's not a bad album at all, and the various artists tracks help to give the soundtrack a bit of colour. I'm not usually a fan of various artists and score mixed albums, but it works quite well here.
