Searching for the Supertruth is the follow up album to The Dreaming Spires's debut, Brothers in Brooklyn. It's a well polished offering, providing more than a handful of catchy, memorable tracks. The album contains 10 songs (46 min, 37 sec) which are part rock, part indie pop and part space gazing, trippy madness. We kick off with the timeless 'Still Believe In You' which is hard to pin down. It's like a '60s Motown classic crossed with indie rock (if you can imagine such madness), and it works incredibly well. Other highlights include 'All Kinds of People'; the bouncy 'Strange Glue'; and 'If I Didn't Know You'. It's a well produced album with plenty of variety woven throughout the tracks. Certainly worth checking out. 8 Nick Smithson Buy this item online
