ScreamWorks Records release Marc Timón Barceló's score for El Árbol Sin Sombra (The Shadowless Tree). The film tells the story of Ingrid and Tina, two girlfriends who have chosen different paths in their lives. Before Ingrid leaves for college, the two decide to go camping one last time... The girls however meet another group in the forest and their conflict with them reveals that the link they thought was so strong is actually quite weak... Marc Timón Barceló's score for El Árbol Sin Sombra (The Shadowless Tree) consists of 20 tracks (49 min, 26 sec) of powerful, suspenseful, classical music. From the opening 'Theme from El Árbol Sin Sombra' to the closing song 'Cold', this is a beautiful journey. Part classical, part Bernard Herrmann in it's delivery, Barceló treats us to some stunning themes. This shouldn't be a surprise for those who've already heard his work for Coliseum: Games of Rome and The Little Wizard. If I had one slight moan, and it is only slight, it's that while there are a quite a few varied themes here, there could have been a little more diversity to the music (something that was very much present in his work for Coliseum and The Little Wizard. 8 Darren Rea Buy this item online
