Christopher Wong's score for the Vietnamese romantic comedy How to Fight in Six Inch Heels is released through MovieScore Media. The film follows the adventures of Anne, a nervous fashion designer from NYC who thinks that her fiancé in Vietnam may be cheating on her with a supermodel. After going through a drastic makeover to infiltrate the Saigon scene, Anne forms a true bond with three of the supermodels who turn out to have a much harder life than what all the glamour and success may lead us to believe... The score for How to Fight in Six Inch Heels may not offer any real surprises, but it's a quirky offering that should appeal to those that like lighthearted, mellow scores. Christopher Wong pulls out all the stops to give us a collection of "doing stuff" background cues. You know the sort of thing; music designed to heighten the tension as our heroes creep around, or look for something. It's probably not a score you'll listen to very often, but those that enjoyed the movie will relish the opportunity to own these 14 tracks (33 min, 03 sec). Also, I could swear that there was a segment of music that was inspired by Hot Chocolate's 'I'll Put You Together Again'. In addition 'First Time Out' may remind some of Howard Shore's score for Mrs. Doubtfire. 6 Darren Rea Buy this item online
