For those of us of a certain age, who grew up listening to our parents Johnny Cash albums, the only way to listen to them is vinyl - anything else is just plain wrong. So it's very good news indeed that USM has released Cash's six album American Recordings series in a single vinyl box set.

The recordings here represent the final six album's Cash would record before his death in 2003. The last two albums, A Hundred Highways and Ain’t No Grave, were released posthumously and it's pretty obvious that his health was declining rather quickly.

The running time of these six albums is 4 hr, 14 min, 26 sec. If you don't already own these albums, now is the perfect time to add them to your collection.
