Lakeshore Records release the various artists soundtrack for The Age of Adaline. After miraculously remaining 29 years old for almost eight decades, Adaline Bowman has lived a solitary existence, never allowing herself to get close to anyone who might reveal her secret. But a chance encounter with charismatic philanthropist Ellis Jones reignites her passion for life and romance. When a weekend with his parents threatens to uncover the truth, Adaline makes a decision that will change her life forever... Following on from Rob Simonsen's incredible score for The Age of Adaline, comes a soundtrack that features various artists. Most are classic gems, but not necessarily tracks you're likely to already have in your music collection. It's an interesting collection of music that shouldn't go well together, but it does, and surprisingly well. While I'm not usually a fan of these sort of releases, this is one that I'll be digging out again in the future on a regular basis.
