Simon Lock formed Terrace in 2010 with the intent to produce music that not only referenced the past, but could live in the present as well as shining a light on the future.

The end result almost achieves that... but for those of us who lived through the '80s, this is an '80s sounding dance album that has been brought, kicking and screaming, into the present.

The album contains 11 tracks (42 min, 32 sec) of soft, club tracks. For people of my age (mid-40s if you must know) this is like a trip down memory lane. There are so many '80s sounds here. But I'm wondering how many of today's clubbers (and my clubbing days are well behind me) will embrace this as much as oldies will.
