Plaza Mayor Company release Andre Matthias's score for Lost for Words. Seeking a fresh start in a foreign land, a damaged, young American ex-Marine falls for a beautiful and talented Chinese ballerina after a chance encounter. Hindered by language barriers, they embark on a journey to teach each other English and Chinese. As these language lessons develop, so does a budding romance. But as their love deepens, mounting outside political and cultural pressures threaten to tear them apart. Just how far will the two star-crossed lovers go in pursuit of true love...?

Andre Matthias's score for Lost for Words contains a number of beautiful themes - not surprising considering that it was composed for a romantic movie about the blossoming love between two people from very different worlds.

The score contains 17 tracks (46 min, 32 sec) with this album's stand out track being 'Forget the Words Follow Your Heart', the album's closing piece. Other tracks worthy of note include 'Love Them Lost for Words' and 'Heart String', which borrows heavily from a very famous piece of classical music (although my mind has totally drawn a blank on the title and composer of the piece in question).

It's a lovingly crafted collection of emotional tracks that will find a welcome home in any softie's soundtrack collection.
