Do teenagers still rebel against the police, politics and the fact that the world is run by those with money? Or are they too busy playing console games to give a sh*t?

Fist City obviously think that Punk is still alive and well, as they release their sophomore LP, Everything Is A Mess. For me, Punk was a backlash to Thatcher's time in government and as we've had a Labour government in power since then basically finishing off what she started... I thought that Punk would have died with the current well reported apathy towards politics.

The album contains 17 tracks (37 min, 36 sec) all of which sound the same; loud, noisy and fairly tuneless. But, hey, this is Punk. What are you expecting? It does make you want to get up and mosh around the room - and that's all you need to know in order for you to sum up whether it's an enjoyable Punk album or not.

Everything is a Mess is an album out of time and out of place. But for old punks this will be like meeting a new friend who you instantly click with, because you have so much in common.
