Earthsonix Records release Mark Leggett's score for Anne Frank's Holocaust. With insight from Anne’s surviving friends, this compelling documentary details Anne and her family’s experiences after being captured and continues through the liberation of the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp. Using the chilling perspective of the Nazi captors, viewers gain critical insight into the concentration camp system... Mark Leggett's score for Anne Frank's Holocaust is more like an EP than a fully-blown soundtrack. The album contains 10 tracks (15 min, 26 sec), but what it lacks in running time it more than makes up for in content. The main score is woven throughout the album, raising its head here and then, momentarily, when you least expect it. The music is as beautiful as you'd expect, given the rather tragic subject matter. Personally I could have listened to much more material in the same vein, it's a shame the score is so short. 8 Darren Rea Buy this item online
