Lakeshore Records release Joel P West's original score for Grandma. Elle Reid has just gotten through breaking up with her girlfriend when Elle's granddaughter Sage unexpectedly shows up needing $600 bucks before sundown. Temporarily broke, Grandma Elle and Sage spend the day trying to get their hands on the cash as their unannounced visits to old friends and flames end up rattling skeletons and digging up secrets... I probably enjoyed Joel P West's score for Grandma a little more than I should have. It's a stripped back, mellow album of sweet themes that you can put on in the background and it won't interrupt what you're doing. Yes, it's music designed to sit in the background of the movie and not be noticed, but played on its own merits it comes alive a little more. At it's heart, the album is an instrumental folk album with plenty of character. The score contains 15 tracks (32 min, 37 sec) and also contains the following artists tracks: 'Lights Out (Instrumental)' - The Tree Ring 7 Darren Rea Buy this item online
