H. Scott Salinas's score for Zipper is released through Lakeshore Records. The movie centres on Sam, a federal prosecutor on the fast track to political success who risks his promising career and family life to indulge the ever-obsessive impulses of his secret addiction to escorts... The score for Zipper, by H. Scott Salinas, is mostly of the ambient, background music variety - the sort of score mainly designed to sit unnoticed in the background to give a little boost to the onscreen imagery. Scores like this work well for the projects they are intended for, but very rarely make for interesting standalone albums. This is the sort of score that you'll buy to put on in the background while you play a game that needs a little more atmosphere. It's only in the last few tracks that this comes to life and delivers some pieces that are worthy of your attention. The album contains 20 tracks (45 min, 07 sec). And while not necessarily highlights, some of the tracks that caught my attention include 'Sam Smells a Trap', which is an interesting action adventure tension builder; 'Jeannie and Sam Make a Choice' which is one of two tracks that comes close to providing an interesting theme - the other being 'Transition to D.C.' 6 Darren Rea Buy this item online
