Astronautilus is the new experimental jazz album from Get the Blessing.

It's an interesting collection of music (9 songs, representing 42 min, 42 sec of music). 'Carapace' reminded me of a jazzed up Michael Nyman; 'Cornish Native' has some rather bizarre sounds - almost as though Darth Vader has become a beekeeper (make of that what you will). And there are plenty of other moments to discover.

While the album won't be to everyone's taste, it's certainly a collection that grows on you over time... and once you're hooked, you're hooked.

If experimental jazz is your thing, then you'll find much to love here.
