Beijing's dark minimal electro / pop group, Nova Heart are comprised of Bo Xuan (bass), Shi Lu a.k.a. Atom (drums), and Helen Feng (vox, keys). The band was formed in 2011 and have since been embraced by influential members of Beijing's art and fashion crowds, music critics, and indie music fans alike - from Beijing to Berlin, London to New York and LA... Nova Heart release their self-titled LP, and it's rather impressive. If you like electro-pop, then Nova Heart are well worth searching out. This isn't just any old electro-pop, thought. There's a depth and a warmth here that sees the album move more towards the indie-pop scene. The album contains 11 songs (46 min, 48 sec) with personal highlights including the contagious 'No Controversy'; hypnotic 'Right Wrong'; and the chilled out trippy vibe of 'Right Wrong'. It's an enjoyable LP that should provide many hours of listening pleasure. The most impressive aspect is how diverse the music is from track to track. 7 Nick Smithson Buy this item online
