MovieScore Media release Gaute Storaas's score for Nina's Children: all revenues from sales of this release will go in full to the UNHCR in order to support the refugees in Europe. The movie tells the story of a Jewish orphanage in Oslo during World War II. Through interviews, archive material and reconstructions the viewer learns about the children's destinies and how they were rescued by a brave woman named Nina Hasvoll Meyer and her good friends in the resistance movement... Gaute Storaas's score for Nina's Children is a lovingly crafted collection of themes which just crosses the line into classical music. This is an album that tends to work best when listened to from start to finish. While there are standout tracks, the whole listening experience reaps rewards when you listen to the entire album, rather than dipping in and out. The soundtrack contains 15 tracks (32 mins) and hardly a minute of it is squandered on unnecessary filler material. If you're a fan of classically scored and performed scores then you should check this out. If you need another incentive to pick this up, all money received will go to charity to help help current refugees in Europe. 8 Darren Rea Buy this item online
