In the Beginning is the fourth studio album by the critically acclaimed live band Marbert Rocel from Leipzig. In the Beginning contains 12 songs (52 min, 46 sec) from this alternative dance band. There's a good mix of tracks here, from the trippy retro electro sounds of 'Unwillingly Close', to the Kylie-esque 'Me, Myself and I'. The album's closer, 'With Your Love', is probably about as modern as the band get. The majority of the tracks have a bit of a retro vibe to them using old electronic samples and synths. It's a mild, laid back affair which is perfect to play in the background as you get ready for a night out. Equally, it's just as enjoyable as the soundtrack to a quiet night in. It's certainly an album you can unwind to. 8 Nick Smithson Buy this item online
