Influential, reclusive French artist Colder, returns after a prolonged, deliberated break from making music. In this quiet time, his music became a pre-cursor and heavily influential to the coldwave and darkwave genres, which continued to grow in popularity, and in 2015 he returns with his first new album in 10 years, Many Colours... The last time Colder released an album was 2005's Heat, his second LP. His new release, Many Colours, is an electronic pop album that harks back to the '80s. It resonates like Joy Division or LCD Soundsystem. The vocals ooze effortlessly over the electronic soundscape, in fact if you're not careful Colder could quite easily send you to sleep with the sound of his smooth voice. The album contains 9 tracks (38 min, 22 sec) with highlights including the most mainstream song, 'Midnight Fever (Feat. Owlle)'; and the album's most obvious '80s inspired track 'Your Kind'. 7 Nick Smithson Buy this item online
