Lakeshore Records will release soundtrack for the film Navy Seals: The Battle for New Orleans. In this action-packed thriller, an elite military team is activated for a dramatic rescue of the Vice President from the Louisiana State Capitol. When all communication is lost with the US Secret Service team, the US Government must rely on the SEAL team to save the day. Upon entering the building and securing the VP and his staff, the SEALs encounter a reporter and her cameraman who have recorded shocking images of what they believe to be an infection among the city’s population. Speculation mounts that the inhabitants of Baton Rouge have been weaponized by a biological agent, which turns its victims into vicious zombie killers... At best this score is a collection of electronic music cues, at worst it's a jumble of atmospheric background sounds. It could be the sheer number of composers that make up this score that make this a disjointed mess, or it could be that it sounds like a quick job where bland filler material has been thrown together to provide backing for the movie. Whatever the reason for this sorry jumble, it's not a score that most people will get anything out of - not unless you're a huge fan of industrial electronic music... and even then you'll probably find this mind numbingly dull. It probably works well in the movie... but listened to without the visuals its falls very flat. 2 Darren Rea Buy this item online
