MovieScore Media release Patrick Jonsson's score for the documentary Frame by Frame. The film tells the story of four photojournalists who started their independent work following the 2001 fell of the Taliban. Since even taking a photo was a crime during the old regime, the photographers had a lot to document - but their livelihood is facing new dangers with the withdrawal of the American troops...

Patrick Jonsson delivers some intricate themes for the documentary Frame by Frame. The majority of tracks feature a trio of strings and piano to create an intimate sound that aims to capture the beauty and fragility of the situation in Afghanistan, as well as the struggles and empathy of the four photojournalists that the viewer follows throughout the movie.

The album contains 16 tracks (32 min, 54 sec) and straddles the line between score and classical music. This isn't a documentary score that's peppered with music cues and bland atmospheric themes that can be placed anywhere, Jonsson carefully constructs music that acts as an integral part of the movie, while also working wonderfully as a collection of beautiful pieces of music in their own right.
