Bear McCreary delivers a handful of intimate themes with his work of The Forest. The album contains 10 tracks (42 min, 02 sec) with stand out moments including 'Journey to Aokigahara' and the the lively, haunting, electronic track 'Theme from the Forest'.

While a few more themes would have been welcomed, what we have is still much more interesting than the majority of horror scores churned out for the genre. McCreary, once again, works his magic and presents fans of the movie a chance to own this subtle and, in places, beautiful score.
