Lorne Balfe once again, delivers some incredibly moving themes with his latest score for 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi. The album contains 13 tracks (52 min, 32 sec) and opens with the impressively multi-layered 'Hero'.

There are quite a few action based themes (most notably 'Engage Direct') which brought to mind Balfe's incredible score for the console game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. And there are also a number of melancholic, heartbreakingly beautiful themes.

Highlights include the aforementioned 'Hero'; 'The Last Resort'; 'Forgotten'; and '13 Hours'.

It's another impressive score from Balfe with a nice balance of action themes and beautiful quiet segments of reflection.
