Varèse Sarabande release Mychael Danna's score for Remember; a thriller in which the darkest chapter of modern history collides with a contemporary mission of revenge. Christopher Plummer plays a man suffering from dementia and living in a nursing home in a frequent state of confusion. He is reminded of his haunting memories during the holocaust, which causes him to hatch a plan to hunt down the man who killed his family, but his unreliable memory and unclear plan make it a difficult journey... Mychael Danna's score for Remember consists of 24 tracks (1 hr, 46 sec) of richly layered music. Highlights include the beautiful 'It Was Not Him'; 'Passport Visit To Canada'; 'It Is Who I Am Sorry'; the eerie 'Zev's Journey'; 'Plan Remembered'; 'Difficult Things You Can't Forget'; and 'Tell Them Who You Are'. Fans of Danna's music will find plenty to enjoy here. There are a handful of filler tracks, which don't do anything for the listener - although I'm sure their integral to the atmosphere of the scenes they were composed for. This is most obvious in 'Haus', which is just background noise. Most of the music, however, is up to Danna's usual excellent quality. 8 Darren Rea Buy this item online
