After cutting their teeth playing the Chicago indie club scene several years back, Peppermint Heaven aka Juno (vocals, keyboards) and Spark (vocals, bass, drums) separately made the long trek from Chicago to LA eventually winding up together in the summer of 2011 when they began creating their own brand of 80s-influenced indie pop. Precious Things is there new album... Peppermint Heaven release their new CD, Precious Things. The album contains 11 tracks (40 min, 32 sec) and almost each track will bring to mind various artists and singles from bands that were once playing live (?) on Top of the Pops. A-Ha, Johnny Hates Jazz, The Thompson Twins, The Cutting Crew... bands that at the time, were seen as a little twee. But equally, there are moments of David Bowie, Morrissey, Erasure and Pet Shop Boys.
