Turin Brakes was originally formed in 1999 and is comprised of Olly Knights, Gale Paridjanian, Rob Allum and Eddie Myer. Their latest album, Lost Property, is released through Cooking Vinyl... Turin Brakes are back with a new album, Lost Property. The band has a decidedly acoustic Indie sound that sounds comfortably familiar even if you've never heard their music before. Lost Property is an album that will almost instantly lodge tracks in your head. Listen to it once, put it down for a few days and come back to it... songs like 'Keep Me Around' and 'Martini' will sound like old favourites that you know intimately. Of the 11 songs (44 min, 19 sec) 'Save You' sounds a little like a James Blunt release, while 'Black Rabbit' starts to stray into Coldplay territory. The entire album is well worth spending some time getting to know. It's a mellow affair that you will easily fall in love with. 9 Nick Smithson Buy this item online
