USM has reissued Placebo's fourth album Sleeping with Ghosts on 180gm vinyl. The album was originally released in 2003 and includes the singles 'The Bitter End', 'This Picture', 'Special Needs' and 'English Summer Rain'...

Sleeping with Ghosts, while not one of my favourite Placebo albums, is still a solid offering. It kicks off on the right foot with 'Bulletproof Cupid' - an instrumental that incorporates an impressive fusion of rock electric guitar styles.

The album contains 12 tracks (46 min, 30 sec) with personal highlights including 'This Picture'; 'Plasticine'; and 'Special Needs'.

It's doubtful that many will be buying this without already owning the original CD. This 180gm vinyl edition is a serious record collector's dream.

If you're a fan of Placebo and a lover of vinyl you don't need my recommendation to buy this - you'll have it on order for months.
