Emmy The Great releases her third album, Second Love, through Bella Union. This is a trippy, mellow LP that feels natural and honest. There's a warmth to Emma-Lee Moss's vocals that is hard not to be sucked in by. From track to track her voice changes constantly. The end result is a comfortable album that will wash over you.

The LP contains 12 songs (43 min, 06 sec) and kicks off on the right note with the upbeat Indie track 'Swimming Pool' (feat. Tom Fleming). Other personal favourites include the once heard, not easily forgotten 'Social Halo', which is a beautiful track; and 'Phoenixes'.

Second Love is certainly diverse and there's bound to be at least a handful of tracks that you'll instantly warm to. The rest of the album will take a little time to grow on you, but stick with it, as it's well worth it.
