J2 Records release the soundtrack for Hot Bot, which includes highlights of Jeff Toyne's score as well as songs by Caligula, The New Mastersounds, Das Tapes, Solardrive and more. The movie is the comedy adventure of two sexually repressed teenage geeks who accidentally discover a beautiful, life-like sex robot, “Bardot.” Thrilled at the chance to finally have sex, Huffy and Nard go to great lengths to protect their newest discovery. Their wildest dreams transform into a nightmare when they learn Bardot is actually the property of the twisted and corrupt Senator Biter who will stop at nothing to get his precious sex bot back...

The soundtrack to Hot Bot contains 14 tracks (although, for some strange reason we were only sent 13 tracks to review). Of these 10 are songs by various artists recorded for the movie, with the remaining 4 tracks (16 min, 02) representing Jeff Toyne's original score.

Fans of the movie will relish the opportunity to own some of these tracks - there's a good mix of modern styles in this soundtrack to the summer.
