Grapefruit is the new album from 20-year-old Kiran Leonard from Oldham, Greater Manchester.

The album contains 8 songs (54 min, 28 sec) and so far two singles have been released: The 16 min, 17 sec 'Pink Fruit' and the 2 min, 34 sec 'Secret Police'. Both are enjoyable for different reasons.

As the album progresses the music becomes more experimental and may well divide listeners. While the opening songs are easily accessible to all, later tracks, like 'Don't Make Friends With Good People', may have some reaching for the off button. 'Exeter Services' sees droning lyrics and out of tune instruments. Giving it a more punky feel.

Personally I appreciated the fact that Leonard's music can't be easily pigeonholed - that you're left a little disoriented as you listen to the album. You'll either get it, or you won't. It's as simple as that.
