Peel is Coves's sophomore album. The LP contains 10 songs (36 min, 49 sec) and includes the band's two latest singles 'Stormy' and 'You're Evil'.

Both of these are instantly accessible and grow on you from the very first listen. However, I'd argue that this album's most impressive track is 'I'm Not Here' a catchy, memorable, stripped down song that will rattle around in your head for days.

The album's opener 'Cadavalier' perfectly introduces the band to its audience, with a flavour of what to expect over the course of the following tracks. To be fair to the band there isn't a bad song here. The tracks are diverse, while keeping that Coves feel, so which track is your favourite will depend very much on what mood you're in.

For fans of the band this won't disappoint, and for those who enjoy a little Indie Rock, Peel should appeal to your tastes.
