Silva Screen Records release Victor Reyes's original score for the BBC's adaptation of John le Carré’s espionage drama The Night Manager. The project brings together love, loss and revenge in a complex story of modern criminality... Victor Reyes (Grand Piano; Red Lights) turns in a wonderfully diverse score for The Night Manager. The album contains 19 tracks (52 min, 36 sec) of beautifully orchestrated themes. This is a score that covers all bases. It has quiet, beautiful reflective tracks; atmospheric suspense building music and tense, action themes. I couldn't help but be reminded of Tommy Tallarico and Michael Richard Plowman's score for the video game Advent Rising when listening to the score's most prominent theme, which is peppered through the album, but is probably most evident on 'A Proper Villa'. This is a beautiful score that should appeal to both fans of the show as well as collector's of orchestrated scores. 9 Darren Rea Buy this item online
