José Fallot's new album has a precious touch of timeless elegance. This is laid back and easily accessible Jazz album. The LP contains 9 tracks (47 min, 02 sec) and opens with the upbeat 'Jumeaux', which over it's 5 min, 30 sec running time introduces us to each of the musicians by giving them their own solo segment. There are so many great tracks here that it's hard to single out individual moments, but 'No Blues' is a beautiful, mainly piano based, track with a brief saxophone interlude; 'Limelight' is a lively affair, which is followed by the smoother, slowed down 'Old Trip'. The album finishes with 'Chiquita' which leaves you wanting more. This is an easily digestible Jazz album and will appeal to both Jazz fanatics, as well as those who usually shy away from the genre. 8 Nick Smithson Buy this item online
