Sony Classical and Madison Gate Records release Dominic Lewis's score for Money Monster. In this real-time, high stakes thriller, financial TV host Lee Gates and his producer Patty, are put in an extreme situation when an irate investor who has lost everything forcefully takes over their studio. During a tense standoff broadcast to millions on live TV, Lee and Patty must work furiously against the clock to unravel the mystery behind a conspiracy at the heart of today's fast-paced, high-tech global markets... Dominic Lewis turns in a fast paced, edge of your seat electronic score for Money Monster. While it's designed to heighten the onscreen action, especially the tension, it works surprisingly well as a stand alone alone. The LP contains 13 tracks (39 min, 07 sec) and while there are no standout, memorable tracks; no themes for the listener to embrace, it's more an album to listen to from start to finish and soak up the atmosphere. It's a tense and impressive collection of tracks that is well worth seeking out. 7 Darren Rea Buy this item online
