MovieScore Media teams up with Elia Cmiral to revisit some of the composer’s favourite, most beloved scores in intriguing new arrangements that highlight previously unheard segments. The Chamber Suites feature highlights from four of Cmiral's film scores, including his first ever soundtrack Apartment Zero, his contributions for John Frankenheimer’s Ronin, excerpts from the World War II drama Habermann and selections from his most recent franchise success, Atlas Shrugged. All are performed by a chamber trio of piano, violin and cello... Elia Cmiral delivers something a little different here. And, if you're a fan of his music then you'll love the chance to hear some of it presented in a new way. There's also new material. The album takes segments of his scores for four movies: Apartment Zero, Ronin, Habermann and Atlas Shrugged and has them reworked as music for piano, violin and cello. It contains 14 tracks (39 min, 26 sec) and it works wonderfully. For me, it was the Atlas Shrugged tracks that were the most enjoyable - mainly because I know the original work fairly well. But the other tracks are just as entertaining. It's a novel approach, and one that his fans should get a huge amount of enjoyment out of.
