Disco is alive and well and thriving in clubs throughout the world. Disco 2.0 represents another compilation album of 21st Century disco anthems that hark back to the scene's origins. This is retro disco brought kicking and screaming into the here and now... Disco 2.0 collects together some of the globe's hottest modern Disco tracks that pay homage to the genre's heyday. There's plenty of familiar sounds - brief bits and pieces that you'll instantly recognise, but probably not be able to place. The entire album sounds exactly how you'd expect a genuine '70s Disco compilation album to sound, but without the crude production values that were available at the time when compared to today's technology. The album contains 11 tracks (1 hr, 12 min, 10 sec) and it really is a little slice of nostalgic heaven. It goes without saying that there's little here that will appeal to those who don't like Disco. But if you do, then you're in for a treat.
