The latest release from ScreamWorks Records is Frank Ilfman's score for Sensoria, classic haunted house psychological horror where memories of the past unravel disturbing things about the present. The story follows the life of Caroline, a woman in her late thirties who has lost everything and is searching for a new beginning. She moves into an old apartment and starts to realize that she is not quite as alone as she thought she was...

Frank Ilfman turns in an above par score for Sensoria. There's a lot of beauty hidden away within this soundtrack's 15 tracks (39 min, 36 sec). It opens with the creepy 'Sensoria', which has a gothic, Danny Elfman-esque quality to it.

'Image in the Mirror' is an interesting track - there's a lot to focus your attention on; 'The Trip' has undertones of Howard Shore's score for The Silence of the Lambs; and ''Trapped and End Credits' and 'Remember' hold this album's most notable theme.

Yes, there are a few too many music cues that go nowhere and yes, a few more memorable themes would have been welcomed, but while it might not set the world alight, this isn't a bad horror score.
