Lakeshore Records release the various artists soundtrack for Captain Fantastic. The film tracks the story of a father raising six children deep in the forests of the Pacific Northwest with a rigorous physical and intellectual education. When a family tragedy occurs however, he is forced to leave his paradise and enter the world, beginning a journey that challenges his idea of what it means to be a parent...

The soundtrack for Captain Fantastic has a bizarre mix of musical styles. From classical to a strange reworking of the love theme from 'Titanic' this is a bit of a mixed bag.

The album contains 10 tracks (43 min, 41 sec), with personal highlights including the chilled out opener 'Boy 1904'; and 'I Shall be Released'. The classical pieces are also great to relax to.

It's a weird mix of styles and in all honesty it's only really a collection that will appeal to fans of the film.
