Zoë is a 19-year-old singer and songwriter from Vienna, Austria. Her debut album, Debut, was released in Austria in October 2015. Following the huge success of the LP in her home country, she was selected to represent Austria in the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest. Following the popularity of her Eurovision performance, Zoë releases a special edition of her Debut album for the UK market: Debut Deluxe... Debut Deluxe contains 17 tracks (53 min, 54 sec) compared to the original Debut's 12 songs (40 min, 43 sec). The album kicks off with 'Loin D'ici', Zoë's Eurovision song entry - which was actually the last track on the standard version of the album. Additional tracks include two more versions of 'Loin D'ici' (Acoustic Version and Stone Van Brooken Remix); another version of 'Devinez' (Balduin Remix); Demo track 'Royals' (a cover of Lorde's original); and a demo track of 'Your Eyes' (a cover of the Cook da Books song). It's an impressive debut album, even if 'Mon Coeur A Trop Aimé' reminded me a little too much of Abba's 'The Winner Takes it All'. If you enjoyed Zoë's performance at the Eurovision Song Contest then you'll no doubt enjoy this easily digestible pop album. 7 Nick Smithson Buy this item online
