The Beat release their first album in over thirty years - their fourth album to date. Bounce was certainly worth the wait. From the clipped and hectic rude boy shuffle of new tunes ‘Avoid The Obvious’ to the chiming sunshine pop romance of ‘Heaven Hiding’ through to ‘Fire Burn’’s heavy-duty righteousness, Bounce is the work of Ranking Roger, Mick Lister and Ranking Junior. The album contains 11 songs (37 min, 37 sec) and represents an interesting fusion of reggae and indie pop. Tracks like 'Busy Busy Doing Nothing' will rattle around in your head for days to come. Likewise, 'Heaven Hiding' is hard not to instantly love. It's a great album that sees The Beat back at the top of their game. 8 Nick Smithson Buy this item online
