The Sound Machine - Vol. 1 kicks off on the right note with 'Cosmopolitan On The Rocks' which opens like the Bee Gees's 'Stayin' Alive' (1977) before moving on to a tune very reminiscent of the opening theme to the console game Grand Theft Auto 5.
This is a diverse and thoroughly enjoyable album, which contains 11 songs (51 min, 35 sec). If you don't bop your head and sing along "Africa, Africa" when listening to 'Nuvole & Vento' then you have no soul.
It feels like highlights of the work of many musicians from various nations and walks of life, so given that this is the work of one man makes it all the more impressive. Give it a whirl, you won't be disappointed.
