With their long-awaited third album Everyone Else, Slothrust deliver ten new anthems

Everyone Else is a pretty middle of the road indie rock album. It's enjoyable and presented adequately, it's just that it offers nothing new or interesting that thousands of other indie rock bands haven't already given us.

Of this album's 10 tracks (37 min) there wasn't anything that really made me sit up and take notice. Enjoyable as it was, I will forgot Slothrust as soon as this review has been finished - which is a shame because they're quite a good band, just not a great band. The main highlight was 'Rotten Pumpkin#, which could so easily have been a Last Shadow Puppets song.
