For those who like bands which are guitar heavy, Finland's Teksti-TV 666 could be the new sound you're looking for. This seven piece shoegazing kraut-punk monster come equipped with five (and on very rare occasions six) electric guitars. Their new album, 1,2,3, is released through Svart The album's closer 'Silmät Kiinni ja Kädet Ristiin' has been a radio hit in Finland, its infectious pysch-punk rush undeniably exciting even on first listen, whereas 'Kuustoista Vuotta Sitten' represents a multi-layered assault that fans of the genre deserve. For fans of classic-style rock (and, more importantly, krautrock) 1,2,3 doesn't disappoint. In fact, I'd also argue that this is a good place to start if you're a newbie to the world of krautrock. The LP contains 12 tracks (1 hr, 14 min, 25 sec) with just enough diversity to keep you hooked from start to Finnish (geddit?) 8 Nick Smithson Buy this item online
