Sony Music Masterworks releases A Street Cat Named Bob Original Motion Picture Soundtrack. The soundtrack features six original songs written by written by Charlie Fink, sung by the main actor, Luke Treadaway alongside music scored by Oscar nominee David Hirschfelder. Based on the much-loved, international best-selling book, the film tells the moving and life-affirming true story of how James Bowen, a busker and recovering drug addict, has his life transformed by his friendship with a stray cat... The soundtrack to A Street Cat Named Bob mixes David Hirschfelder's score with Charlie Fink's songs. Normally I'm not a fan of this style of soundtrack as I'd rather have the score, but in the case of this movie the two go hand in hand to create the film's atmosphere. The album contains 19 tracks (33 min, 21 sec) with the score offering up some genuinely touching moments 'Satellite Moments (Orchestral Reprise)' being the notable track here. It's a sweet, feel good score that will be welcomed by fans of the film. 7 Darren Rea Buy this item online
